Psychologist · Migration and family

When life changes at its roots, regaining your balance is possible.

I support women and families going through major changes —migration, adapting to a new country, a new life stage— to rediscover calm, connection and the feeling of home.

Does this sound familiar?

You are exhausted and you are not quite sure why

Distress that lingers over time also shows up in the body and in daily life at home. You may recognise some of these signs:

  • Constant tiredness, even when you rest
  • Trouble sleeping
  • Recurring tension and aches
  • A feeling of being overwhelmed
  • Arguments that keep repeating at home
  • Emotional distance with your partner
  • Frequent conflicts with the children
  • Feeling that you have lost yourself

You are not always unwell. Often there is a situation that has been shaping how you feel for some time —and it has an explanation.

Let's talk about what is happening to you

Very often, the problem is not your partner. Nor your children. Nor you.

It is a process of adaptation and stress that no one has been able to name.

Conflicts have an explanation. And what we understand, we can transform.

My approach

A method with direction, geared towards real change

I combine three well-established frameworks so that every process has structure, meaning and observable results.

Strategic

Focused on the specific problem and on actionable steps. We work with direction and clear goals, never adrift.

Systemic

We look at relationships and the family as a whole. The symptom makes sense within its context, and that is where it transforms.

Ericksonian

Respectful work tailored to you, drawing on your own resources. Trained at the Milton Erickson Institute.

About me

I am Elena, and I have packed my bags too

I know first-hand what it means to start over in another country: the excitement of the beginning and the quiet wear that comes afterwards. From that experience and extensive training, I support women and families in putting the pieces back together.

I offer care in Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian and English, with the intercultural sensitivity these processes call for.

Frequently asked questions

What you are probably wondering

  • How exactly can you help me?

I support processes of sustained stress, couple and family conflicts, and adaptation difficulties after major life changes, especially migration, moving to another country and stage-of-life changes that disrupt personal and family balance.

  • Do you offer sessions online or only in person?

Both. I work in person in the area of Pilar de la Horadada, Orihuela Costa, Torrevieja and Murcia, and online with people across Spain and abroad.

  • Which languages do you work in?

I offer care in Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian and English, with the intercultural sensitivity these processes call for.

  • How long does the process take?

It depends on each situation, but I work with clear goals from the start so the process has direction. Many people notice progress within a few weeks. You can come for single sessions or through packs.

  • Can I come on my own or does the whole family have to come?

Whatever you need. There are individual, couple and family processes; sometimes we begin with just one person and, if it makes sense, the rest of the family joins later on.

  • How do I request a first appointment?

You can write to me through the contact form, on WhatsApp or by phone. We talk briefly about what you are going through and arrange a first meeting.

Identifying what is happening to you is the first step towards regaining your wellbeing

Let's take that first step together. Tell me briefly what you are going through and we will find a moment to talk, with no obligation.
