Psychologist in Murcia

Psychological support for women and families in Murcia and its region who are going through major life changes: relocations, migration and the loss of their lifelong support network. Online for the whole city and Region, and in person in the Vega Baja area for those who can travel.

Murcia and its region

Starting over in another city is more tiring than it seems

Every year Murcia welcomes many women and families arriving from other provinces and other countries in search of a better life. But behind every move there is also a network left behind.

When you leave your city, your language or your country, you don't just change house: you change your routine, your support and, sometimes, your identity. What you once solved with a call to your mother or a lifelong neighbour, you now carry on your own. It is only natural for tiredness, emotional distance from your partner and tension at home to appear.

Often the problem is not your partner, nor your children, nor you; it is a process of adaptation and stress that no one has been able to name. Conflicts have an explanation, and what we understand we can transform. My work is to help you regain your emotional balance, connection and the sense of harmony at home after a major life change.

Reasons why women and families in Murcia get in touch

Not everything has to fit. If you recognise yourself in any of these situations, we can start there.

  • You arrived in Murcia from another country

The move promised a better life, but it also left you without your lifelong network. You miss a language, a way of caring, a family that used to be a street away and is now thousands of kilometres apart.

  • There is more tension at home than before

Arguments that repeat themselves, silences that weigh heavily, a feeling that no one quite understands each other. Often it is neither your partner nor your children: it is a process of adaptation that no one has been able to name.

  • You are exhausted and disconnected

You hold up work, the home and everyone else, but inside you feel far from yourself. A new routine in a new city drains more energy than it seems.

  • The change has shaken the whole family

When a family relocates or moves into a new stage, each member experiences it in their own way. The children adapt to another language and another school; the couple, to different schedules and expectations.

  • You want to find your bearings again

You are not only looking to let off steam: you want to understand what is happening and feel harmony at home again. We work with clear goals and results you can observe.

  • You need someone who truly understands

You are looking for a professional who understands what it means to start from scratch in another country, without having to explain where you come from or translate your emotions.

The way I work

A structured, results-oriented method

I work with a strategic, systemic and Ericksonian approach: an orderly methodology with clear goals from the very first session, so the process has direction and you can notice real progress.

I am a registered psychologist (No. CV20543, Colegio Oficial de Psicología de la Comunidad Valenciana). The support focuses on emotional wellbeing, relational and family work and personal development, not on clinical labels. Family is the core of my work, because major changes shake the whole household.

What sets us apart

  • Four languages of support

    Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian and English.

  • Specialised in adaptation

    Migration, relocations and life-stage changes.

  • A family and systemic lens

We understand the whole household, not just the symptom.

  • Online or in person

You choose, according to your life in Murcia.

Common questions from Murcia

Online or travelling: sorting out the practical side

  • I live in the city of Murcia, are the sessions online or in person?

For the city of Murcia and most of the Region I mainly work online, with the same closeness and depth as in-person sessions. It is the most convenient option if you live in the capital or in inland municipalities. If you prefer meeting in person and can travel, I offer sessions in the Vega Baja area and along the coast: Pilar de la Horadada, Orihuela Costa and Torrevieja, a short distance from the south of the Region.

  • Does working online go just as well as in person?

Yes. The vast majority of processes move forward just as solidly online: what sustains change is the bond, the method and the goals, not the physical place. It also saves you travelling and lets you have your session from a quiet space at home, something especially valuable for women and families with very full schedules.

  • In which languages can I have the sessions?

I work in Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian and English. I am of Ukrainian origin and have experienced migration first-hand, so the support includes the intercultural sensitivity these processes need. For many people from the Russian and Ukrainian communities in the Region of Murcia, being able to speak in their mother tongue makes all the difference.

  • Can I travel from Murcia for an in-person session?

Yes. The Vega Baja area is well connected with the south of the Region of Murcia, and many people combine an in-person session with a mostly online process. In person I offer sessions in Pilar de la Horadada, Orihuela Costa and Torrevieja. In certain cases I also hold outdoor sessions.

  • Do you work with families and couples, or only individually?

All three formats. Family sessions are the core of my work, because major changes affect the whole household, but I also accompany couples and individuals. Sometimes we start with a single person and, if it makes sense, the rest of the family joins later on.

  • How do I request a first appointment from Murcia?

You can write to me through the contact form, by WhatsApp or by phone. We talk briefly about what you are going through and arrange a first meeting, online or in person, whichever suits you best.

Are you in Murcia and feel the change has taken its toll?

Tell me briefly what you are going through and we will find a first moment to talk, online or in person, with no obligation.
