Couples sessions

When life takes a big turn —a move, a change of country, a new stage— the couple is usually the first to feel it. Often the tension between you is not the underlying problem, but the symptom of an overload that no one has been able to name yet.

Few things wear down a relationship as much as a major life change lived without a support network. After a migration, a move or a stage of great pressure, the tiredness builds up, living together grows tense and you start to blame each other for what is really shared stress.

That is why I do not look at the couple as an isolated problem, but within everything you are going through. Often the problem is not your partner, nor is it you: it is a process of adaptation and wear that has slipped into your home unannounced. When we give it a name, it stops being a war between you and becomes something you can look at and resolve together.

Do you recognise yourselves?

Signs that the relationship is feeling the strain

You do not need a major crisis for something to have cooled down. Sometimes the warning is in the small everyday gestures:

  • The same arguments come back again and again, never resolved
  • There is emotional distance: you feel further apart than ever
  • Any subject turns into a reproach or a list of unpaid debts
  • You live in parallel, more like logistics partners than a couple
  • It is hard to talk about what matters without it ending in tension or silence
  • You miss the closeness, the calm and the wish to be together

Recognising this does not mean your relationship is broken. It means that something has been asking for attention for a while —and it has an explanation.

Let's talk about what is happening to you

How we work

Looking at the context, not looking for someone to blame

Support with a strategic and systemic approach: instead of finding out who is right, we look together at the dynamic that has you trapped and map out a path with clear goals.

We look at the relationship, not at a culprit

From a systemic view, the conflict does not live «inside» either of you, but in the way of relating you have built, often under pressure. Understanding that pattern is what makes it possible to change it, without pointing fingers or handing out reproaches.

We work with clear goals

The strategic approach brings direction: from the start we define what you want to recover and we take concrete steps towards it. A structured method, oriented to observable results, not a process left adrift.

We give a name to what is happening

A large part of the relief comes from understanding. When the tiredness, the adaptation or the change of stage stops being an invisible enemy and comes to have an explanation, the conversation between you changes in tone.

Where we want to get to

What we set out to recover

It is not about becoming who you once were, but about finding each other again from where you are today, with tools to sustain the relationship day to day.

Communication that does not wound

Learning to say what matters to each other without reproaches or silences, and to listen without becoming defensive. Conversations that bring you closer instead of pushing you apart.

The emotional connection

Recovering the closeness, the affection and the feeling of having someone on your side. Seeing each other as a couple again, not only as household managers.

The sense of being a team

Ending the standoff between opposing sides and rowing in the same direction again, with a shared project and a fair split of the load.

Format

In person, online and at your own pace

Together we choose the format that best fits your life and the stage of the process you are in.

In person

Sessions in Pilar de la Horadada, Orihuela Costa, Torrevieja and Murcia. In certain cases, also outdoors, when the setting helps you talk with more calm.

Online

For couples across Spain and abroad, with the same closeness. A very practical option when one of you travels often or you live abroad. I work in Español, Ruso, Ucraniano, Inglés.

A single session or a pack of 10

You can start with a single session, with no commitment, to see how it feels to work together. And if you decide to continue, the pack of 10 sessions gives the process continuity and depth, which is where change really takes hold.

Frequently asked questions

What you are probably wondering

  • Do we both have to come to the first session?

Ideally you both come, because the relationship is what we are going to support and it is easier to understand with both of you present. Even so, if your partner has not decided yet, you can start on your own: often the process begins with one person and the other joins later on.

  • We have been stuck with the same thing for years, is there still anything to be done?

A pattern lasting a long time does not mean it cannot change. Often it is not that you do not love each other, but that you have become trapped in a way of relating that no longer works, frequently inherited from a stage of great stress or a major change. What we come to understand, we can transform.

  • Are you going to decide who is right?

No. I do not work by looking for someone to blame or handing out who is right. We look together at the context and the dynamic that has you trapped, because almost always the problem is neither of you, but a way of functioning that the three of us can change.

  • Do you offer online sessions or only in person?

Both. I see couples in person in Pilar de la Horadada, Orihuela Costa, Torrevieja and Murcia, and online for couples across Spain and abroad. The online format works especially well when one of you travels or when you live abroad.

Finding your way back to each other is possible

Tell me briefly what you are going through and we will find a first moment to talk, with no obligation. Sometimes all it takes is starting to name it.
